Kristin Ess Daily Cleansing Shampoo has been the only shampoo that doesn't make my scalp itch. I'm allergic to propolis, lanolin and fragrance mix II. I tried Paul Mitchell's Clear Essential shampoo, and with it I was itch free, as well, but my hair was straw. When I use The Ordinary's sulfate 4% shampoo, my scalp itches, but their conditioner, Behentrimonium Chloride 2% is great and no itch for me. So, my working combination is Kristen Ess Daily Cleansing Shampoo and The Ordinary Behentrimonium Chloride conditioner with FragFre Detangler (it's great!). The Kristin Ess Shine Enhancing Conditioner contains Isopropyl Myristate, to which I have a strong reaction. Hope this helps someone!

Well...it has no scent, as described. But that is the only positive in my opinion. I tried it one time only and it turned my hair into brittle straw, that took over a month for my hair to recover from. To be fair, I have blond highlighted hair, but I have NEVER had my hair react this way to a shampoo before.
Hang tight. We're thinking.
